What you’ll be working on:
- Build and develop a sales pipeline for existing and novel products based on our manufacturing capabilities
- Own strategy development for initial target industries and ideal customers, as well as processes to vet, execute across and adapt these early strategies
- Lead conversations, negotiations and all aspects of communication with potential customers
- Be a reliable voice of the customer within our organization to help align work toward high potential commercial applications
- Act as a leader within the organization on all things, including culture, organizational development, hiring and growth planning
Qualifications
- BS in Engineering discipline or equivalent experience. 7+ years experience in Sales / Business Development / Strategy in powder metallurgy, metal parts and/or advanced manufacturing industries. Mix of tactical & strategic experience highly preferred
- Proven ability to consistently create new, profitable business relationships and grow existing ones over the long term
- Exceptional communication skills, particularly the abilities to 1) translate complex technical concepts into compelling business cases, and 2) be a reliable voice of the customer throughout our organization
- Steadfast ability to organize and prioritize in ambiguous, fast moving environments, while maintaining high productivity and output
