What You'll Do

The Director, Impact is responsible for maximizing agency impact through our people and practices as an agency. This role is responsible for the planning and implementation of our community relations and employee engagement efforts. In addition to the agency wide responsibilities, the Director, Impact will also serve as the Director of our agency non-profit (Situation Project) and manage the school, partner and internal communications as well as the execution of relevant programming.

Sample Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Situation Group Impact Efforts

• Serve as the primary driver, connector and communicator of Situation’s impact efforts agency wide
• Serve as the primary point of contact for inbound requests and solicitations for Situation’s impact efforts and resources
• Serve as an active seeker of places where our impact can best be felt
• Curate & organize internal events & staff opportunities with a focus on volunteerism & cultural opportunities driven by our client offerings (8-10 events/year)

Situation Group Educational Partner Outreach & Development

• Act as point of contact for partner universities & organizations focused on student engagement/career development
• Administration of Handshake account & schools
• Identify opportunities for student engagement & introduction to industry/agency

Situation Group People Support

• Lead communication to our internal staff around our impact - clients, people/work, purpose
• Identify and design ways to connect our people with our purpose

Situation Project

• Produce & execute programmed events (4 - 6 events/year of varying scales)
• Create and maintain programming spreadsheet with calendars and contacts
• Work with Situation Project Finance Director to ensure invoices are processed, paid and coded appropriately
• Develop & maintain relationships with partner schools
• Record, track and manage all donor information, including issuing of tax letters
• Provide event coordination support for fundraising campaigns
• Website updates

Requirements

• 3-5 years of relevant experience
• Proven ability to drive impact efforts in an organization
• Experience in executing programming for multiple age groups & stakeholders
• Experience in managing partners & vendors
• Ability to fluidly move between a variety of day-to-day responsibilities
• Detail oriented with strong organizational and prioritization skills
• Collaborative and solution-oriented
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Competent in MS Office or related programs
