Position Summary:

Responsible for the Collette Tours Inventory Management, Revenue Management, Finance, and Reservation System. This includes day to day operational support as well long term strategy and development for the custom built, internally used system. This also includes working with key business stakeholders from the contact center and finance to support the growth and strategy of the business.

Primary Functions:

• Collaborating with business stakeholders to define and refine the system roadmap, both short and long term. This includes knowing the business and the technology and using that knowledge to make a strategic contribution to the direction and priorities of the product.
• Development and Management of a team of engineers, business analysts, program managers, and QA. Team size will be between 20-25 people depending on business demands and funding. The team is a combination of employees and contractors. Contractors are a combination of on-shore and off-shore resources.
• Program management of medium size (100K-500K), strategic projects. This includes contributing to the strategy, the business case, the development of the project plan, the organization of the teams around the plan, both technology and business, the execution of the plan, the delivery of the solution into production including change management and establishing and responding to the feedback loop of the solution for continuous improvement.
• Day to Day operational excellence of the systems ensuring high availability, security, accessibility to the system, minimizing impact to the business and to Collette customers.
• Technology roadmap and architectural vision for the product.
• Management of a budget of 2-2.5 million.

Knowledge and Skills:

• 5+ years of managing a small to medium team of engineers and project/program. managers and a team lead or manager of a key business application.
• 5+ years as an application programmer.
• 3+ years of managing medium size projects/programs 500,000K or larger.
• 3+ years responsible for technical direction of an application.
• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Strong engineering, technology, and system architect skills knowledge, skills, and experience.
• Strong business analysis and business process re-engineering skills.
• Strong problem solving skills for business and engineering.
• Collaboration with stakeholders, relationship management skills.
• Team building and Engineering Leadership skills.
• Experience with Agile Development processes.
• Strong Customer Experience focus.
• Strong system design and system architecture skills.
• Strong data capture and analysis skills for design and decision making.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $130,000.00 per year
