Who We’re Looking For


We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated full-time Director of Business Development (Education Sales) to join our team at our Live Oak, Texas location. We are interested in candidates who are looking to work for a company that is passionate about changing lives and helping build the essential workforce! Our ideal candidate will have experience developing educational institutions from the ground up, building and maintaining a network of clientele in the education space, and selling education programs to prospect targets.


The Director of Business Development’s duties and responsibilities include:

  • Working independently and with different team members to achieve target revenue goals.
  • Assisting in the identification of potential partners based on admissions and marketing information.
  • Assisting team with opening new locations in multiple states.
  • Collaborating with team to help create, implement, and champion winning strategies to reach potential targets and partners.
  • Developing and maintaining trusting relationships with new and current partners.
  • Helping facilitate effective implementation of new applicable processes and systems.
  • Helping train new and current information session facilitators on best practices and areas of improvement.
  • Communicating with senior leadership all important and valuable information related to business development.
  • Performing other responsibilities and projects as directed by the Vice President of Business Development and Chief Operating Officer.


This role requires the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in related field required.
  • Master of Business Administration or related degree preferred
  • 5-10 years of experience in a business development role in the education or related field required.
  • Demonstrated experience with building relationships with prospect clientele and partners in the education space.
  • Demonstrated experience opening educational institutions in multiple states.
  • Experience leading complex projects that require working with applicable departments and cross functional business partners.
  • Experience with solution sales in the education space.
  • Demonstrated experience implementing and maintaining a successful business development plan.
  • Ability to demonstrate strong business acumen when working with partners and clients.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated and works well with limited direction.
  • Organized with ability to follow-up on and manage details.
