Umbrex is seeking an IT Director specializing in User Acceptance Testing to assist our client within the insurance industry to initiate the launch of a new consumer portal and ensure it is running in a timely and efficient manner. This is a temporary, 6 month contract with the possibility of extension.

Responsibilities:

• Lead a team to planning, facilitating, and supporting the execution of the new system initiative

• Communicate deliverables and business processes with stakeholders

• Develop innovative solutions and collaborate with cross functional teams to implement successfully

• Identify and manage risks and issues

• Analyze critical information related to the business systems and processes identifying trends and diagnosing problem areas

• Manage cross functional projects

• Provide coordination and management between teams and cross-team synchronization

Qualifications:

• Strong communications skills with the ability to coach users and manage their expectations

• Strong test case management and testing process experiences, with prior UAT leadership

• Experience with test case tools to track and manage test scripts working with Quality Assurance and Development teams.

• Commercial insurance experience is preferred.

Starts: ASAP

Duration: 6 months, five days per week

Location: Remote with possibility of required travel for trainings, workshops, and events

Pay: $75 - $100 per hour

**This is a 1099 contract role with no health insurance benefits**
