Position Type: Full-time

The Director of Marketing position is a corporate leadership role reporting directly to the company President.

Key Deliverables and Responsibilities:
Collaborate with ClearShark leadership to make high-level decisions regarding direction of the company and investments
Develop company’s overall marketing strategy, including creation and communication of annual marketing plan aligned with overall corporate strategy
Develop and manage an annual budget, including investments and expenditures with respective return on investment
Build and develop marketing team responsible for branding, corporate communications, marketing campaigns, and operations to support all marketing efforts
Understand key marketing trends and determine applicability for ClearShark
Create and maintain a successful brand and image that attracts Government customers and industry partners to ClearShark’s capabilities and offerings
Building and maintaining relationships with key vendor’s executive marketing leadership
Collaborate closely with sales leadership and team to develop successful strategies and campaigns that attract new customers and keep existing Government customers
Oversee key company conferences, trade shows, and major events
Work with vendor and distribution partners to develop specific plans and/or leverage their channel programs to earn marketing development funds
Ensure ClearShark’s marketing position is competitive amongst peer companies
Maintain understanding of available industry marketing tools to develop an integrated approach for ClearShark
Overseeing company’s content marketing and social media marketing strategy
Establish, manage, and report on key performance indicators to drive marketing success

Qualifications:
College degree preferred or a minimum of 4 years of military service
Proven track record of leading marketing teams for a minimum of 5 years
Experience with digital marketing forms such as social media marketing and content marketing
Experience with Government-focused content creation preferred
Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
High competence in managing multiple projects and stakeholder management
Experience with marketing automation tools and other relevant marketing applications
