Position responsibilities:

• Spearhead the full lifecycle of our new store opening process (critical path).
• Lead communications between all stakeholders in the new store and renovation process (real estate, construction, marketing, people, supply chain, finance, legal, and operations.)
• Coach and lead a team of new store openers across the organization.
• Manage Grand Opening timelines for all new stores and renovations of existing stores.
• Conduct frequent touch base support calls with store leadership up to Grand Opening, to review timelines and TO DO’s.
• Ensure all Field leadership team members are fully trained per established timelines.
• Frequent communication with Talent Acquisition dept on all salaried and hourly staffing support needs.
• New store onboarding and kick off meeting content and support.
• New store Orientation review and support.
• New field leadership training on new store processes, timelines, and operations.
• Post Grand Opening Support for High Volume or Complicated stores and facilitate a healthy transition of leadership over to the Regional DM.
• Review / update new store materials.
• Provide weekly reporting on all new store timelines, ensuring that new stores have the right products and all of the necessary equipment and supplies.

Desired skills & experience:

• A minimum 6 years of retail, restaurant, hospitality operations management experience.
• At least 3 years of experience leading a new store (restaurant, retail unit, or otherwise) opening team, in a high-growth company.
• Proven financial, business and talent planning.
• Ability to utilize new techniques, ideas and problem-solving skills; incredibly strong judgement to apply across a multitude of challenges.
• Ambitious and driven – willing to do whatever it takes.
• Excellent organizational, listening, communication and follow-up skills - on the ready to interact & influence across a diverse community.
• Entrepreneurial spirit in a fast-paced organization.
• Ability to travel domestically up to 50% throughout the year.
