Job Summary
Responsible for the coordination and administration of the Online Office to assist applicants and support prospective and current students as they matriculate through their online program of study. Actively coordinates faculty and student supports with relevant academic and non-academic offices at UTA (e.g., field/internship offices, graduate school, financial aid, admissions). Collects data and maintains records for accreditation for accountability. Supervises staff, oversees online applicant admissions processes, works with external stakeholders and university personnel, and regularly seeks opportunities for continuous improvement in online office operations. Facilitates training and monitors student success.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Communicates with stakeholders about student supports and required documents and processes in admissions, degree progress, and program completion. Oversees training and required credential review of and documentation for specific online programs and where appropriate, field supervisors. Responds to current and prospective student inquires or support needs as they apply for and/or matriculate through their program of study. Provides overall daily online program management.
  • Collects and maintains required applicant and student documentation with Online Office staff. Assesses documents for accuracy and facilitates the collection and timely data reporting. Updates documents as needed.
  • Builds and refines processes and leads initiatives. Communicates and meets regularly with program faculty and staff to ensure the development, implementation, and delivery of high-quality programs. Supervises Online Office staff, including academic recruiters and enrollment staff. Works with academic college/school, Center for Distance Education, additional UTA offices, and other stakeholders.
  • Participates in meetings, trainings, and events.
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications
Master’s Degree and five (5) years of experience serving as a university supervisor or equivalent experience. Project management experience.

Preferred Qualifications
Doctoral degree. Candidate must have knowledge of university processes and state requirements, strong communication skills, and the ability to lead a team.
