Job description

Responsible for the short-term planning and management of the daily activities for F&B outlets, including monitoring overall performance. Recommends promotional ideas and procedural changes. Ensures that outlet operational policies and procedures are maintained throughout the outlets. Assists (F&B) in developing and managing the strategic plan for the Food and Beverage division including budget administration, forecasting, inventory, and cost control. Oversees the development of the outlet management team.

Essential Functions:

  • Plan and manage the Restaurants, Room Service, and other food and beverage outlets to achieve customer satisfaction, quality service, compliance with corporate/franchise policies and procedures, and federal, state, and local regulations while meeting/exceeding financial goals.
  • Verifies that all outlet operational policies and procedures are maintained throughout the outlets.
  • Provide direction and guidance to department leaders to ensure compliance to attract, retain and motivate the employees; hire, train, develop, empower, coach, counsel, conduct performance and salary reviews, resolve problems, and recommend discipline and termination, as appropriate and ensure compliance to HR policies and procedures.
  • To ensure consistency throughout the department and resort, communicate events accurately and timely.
  • Ensure compliance with LSOPs and SOPs, safety regulations, and all other federal, state, and local regulations to provide an optimal level of service.
  • Forecast, control, and report on the various outlet budgets and their components to maximize revenue and minimize expenses while ensuring adequate supplies and staff are on hand to provide top-quality customer service.
  • Monitors the status and progress of each outlet to maintain consistency in all areas of the operations.
  • Provides leadership and direction to F&B outlets and staff.
  • Monitors each outlet's status and progress and maintains consistency in all areas of Food and Beverage operations.
  • Respond to customer trends, needs, issues, comments, and problems to ensure a quality experience and enhance future sales prospects.
  • Monitors employee attendance and records absences/tardiness.
  • Helps direct supervisors to achieve their own development goals.
  • Complies with all accounting procedures.
