MedeAnalytics seeks a Director of People Operations and analytics expert with vast experience in Learning & Development, employee relations and performance management. Our Director will have a heavy focus on L&D and will develop, manage and drive a global Leadership & Development strategy to strengthen people and organizational capabilities and performance. This role will also assist in dealing with employee grievances, disputes and investigations, performance management, supporting employee development, implementing/creating HR strategies that support business objectives (such as creating systems for self-service), mitigating risk, structuring benefit packages and designing accountability mechanisms.

  • Global remote workforce in hyper growth SaaS tech healthcare analytics company.
  • Pace: constant changing targets and quick turnaround is essential due to shifting priorities, changing needs and project specifications (travel required 10-15% of the time)

Evangelizing a culture of lifelong learning

  • Planning and executing on the organization's overall L&D strategy for leaders as well as employees.
  • Develop high impact learning and development programs and resources for individual contributors, managers, and leaders; including experiential learning, training, and digital content, which fuels a culture of learning.
  • Build a trusted advisor relationship with leaders across all levels in the organization, ensuring a cross-functional approach to employee performance improvement that defines and socializes the long-term talent strategy and success metrics.
  • Build out our "Centers of Excellence" to design and create the necessary curriculum to drive company outcomes and empower our Mede People to do their best work.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs, and policies.
  • Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues.
  • Conduct effective, thorough and objective investigations.
  • Provide professional expertise and support in the design, development and implementation of the talent review process to achieve business goals.
  • Develop, initiate and maintain effective programs for workforce retention, promotion and succession planning.
  • Provide guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning and succession planning.
  • Manage the maintenance and execution of the performance management system. (Including current job descriptions, standards of performance and performance evaluation instruments).
  • Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
  • Work closely with the HRIS manager to collect and coordinate aggregate data for talent pool and translate data into insights through analysis that drives deliberate action plans at the appropriate levels.
  • Identify training needs for business units and individual executive coaching needs.
  • Partner and influence leaders to optimize L&D resources, integrate L&D into organizational practices to attract talent, and build and sustain a skilled, vibrant and agile workforce.
  • Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs, and policies.
  • Assist international employees with expatriate assignments and related HR matters.

Education, Experience, and Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field plus a SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP.
  • 10+ years of broad HR experience including L&D, performance management and Employee Relations.
  • Highly skilled in HRIS systems optimizing self-service people operations.
  • Training and Development experience around continues improvement of comprehensive training strategies and leadership development programs.
  • Experience in managing a Learning Management System. Litmos is a plus.
  • Experience in developing rolling out one or more tools used for content creation or delivery.
  • International Global workforce experience a plus.
  • Proficient user of MS Office Suite, Perform Yard, ADP, and Jira.
  • Training and Development experience around continues improvement of comprehensive training strategies and leadership development programs.
  • Excellent interpersonal, counseling, and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent leadership and presentation skills.
  • Great analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Possesses a thorough understanding of recruitment methods and best practices, as well as applicable policies of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Ability to design and implement a full-cycle performance management program.
  • Experience designing, developing, and supporting organization-wide talent management programs that cover performance management, talent development, coaching, succession planning, data analytics and relationship management.
  • Previous experience in capturing metrics and producing various workforce reports.
  • Experience working with an applicant tracking system. (Greenhouse preferred)
