Director of Sales

Job Summary:
The Director of Sales is a key leadership position and a member of the senior leadership team. This person is accountable for achieving all revenue targets through the activities of the Sales Representatives. Through the success of Inside Sales team, Field Sales team and our Commercial Sales team, and in partnership with the Branch Managers, this person will drive sales force productivity and deliver the business growth that Official Pest Prevention requires.
Duties/Responsibilities:
· Create best sales practices and teach the Sales team on pest control selling techniques to the sales team.
· Directly manage Sales Team, including monitoring their attendance, productivity, and providing regular feedback as needed.
· Partner with Branch Managers on motivating and advising the outside Sales Representatives performance, including the identification of sales targets, revenue and lead generation.
· Manage the sales function through implementing effective strategies, planning long-term and short-term goals, analyzing data on past performance, and projecting future performance.
· Coach individual Sales Representatives one-on-one through phone work and prospecting help sessions to help them improve sales performance.
· Plan and implement training programs. Sponsor regular skills training sessions with internal or external sales trainers.
· Maintain a deep understanding of customer needs and monitor their preferences and apply this knowledge to sales approach.
· Resolve escalated customer issues and customer complaints regarding sales and service.
· Work with leadership team to set and adjusting pricing plans.
· Track Sales team metrics and share them with company leadership.
· Analyze sales data on sales results and develop plans to address performance gaps.
· Collaborate with marketing to develop lead generation plans.
· Monitor competition, economic indicators, and industry trends.
· Oversee and manage sales and marketing strategy

Education and Experience:
· Minimum of 10 years of experience in sales management.
· Experienced working in a matrixed management environment.
Physical Requirements:
· Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
· Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
· Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities.

· Have and maintain active, unrestricted California Driver License.

Pay: $134,000.00 - $201,000.00 per year
