The training and People Development team was formed one year ago to tap into the value of bringing together professionals in training, instructional design, leadership development, and career development. You will lead these teams helping them unlock efficiencies and new insights by working together to solve problems. You’ll have the opportunity to build leaders, run our LMS, oversee new hire training, advance the careers of employees (your own team and the company as a whole), upskill our workforce and ensure we meet regulatory requirements.
What you'll be doing
- Oversee creation and deployment of leadership development and career advancement tools, resources, and curricula
- Manage the new hire experience and training of new Digital Banking Representatives (our front-line contact center employees). This includes the development and delivery of training materials
- Coordinate company-wide training through policy management and execution and regularly prepare reporting to be used by senior executives, the board of directors, and/or regulators
- Manage our LMS, including taking over the implementation of a recently selected new LMS in Q2-Q3 2023
- As a start-up, we often wear multiple hats. Other duties will arise which could include People Partner responsibilities and special projects
- Consult with the Chief People Officer and peers as a member of the People Leadership team in running the People Team
You’ll bring the following required skills and experiences
- Deep experience in successfully developing and leading learning and development initiatives for all levels
- Experience overseeing an LMS. LMS implementation is a helpful bonus
- Experience working in a regulated industry. Experience working directly with auditors or regulators preferred.
- Experience managing a team in a virtual environment
- Experience in a fast-paced high-growth environment
- A bachelor’s degree in business, finance, human resources, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
