JOB DESCRIPTION DETAILS

Plans, coordinates, and supervises the activities of the plant operations and maintenance functions which are necessary in maintaining physical structures (including HVAC, mechanical and electrical systems, utilities, and grounds).

Maintains performance improvement activities within various departments and will, as needed, perform emergency repairs at the various locations.

Provides leadership to department staff including interviewing, staffing, department training, and performance management.

Minimum 5 years of construction industry experience preferably in a hospital setting.

Knowledge in HVAC, fluid handling/pumping, fluid filtering, mechanical systems, and electrical engineering and operation.

Five (5) years leadership/management experience.

Hospital facilities management including Environment of Care, plant operations, and Joint Commission survey standards and compliance is preferred.

Maintains unit-specific and hospital competencies, mandatory learning, and any clinical certifications required in accordance with the Staff Education and Training policy GA-057 and/or any other department requirements.

Specific technical skills required to fulfill position requirements.

Effectively communicates with all staff by implementing organization-wide communication techniques as a daily practice.

May require the ability to drive as part of routine job duties.
Job Summary :Education :Position requires a bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or related field.Registration/Certification/Licensure :Unexpired, unsuspended driver’s license if incumbent will be required to drive as part of their routine job duties.Experience :Other Requirements : -
