Position Summary:

The Retirement Advisory Development Unit is focused on building Institutional sales success for Natixis Sustainable Future Target Date Series as well as other Natixis Affiliate asset managers through retirement focused Advisors, Consultants, Recordkeeper Partners and Plan Sponsors, where appropriate. The Director must work in close collaboration with internal sales partners in the Advisory Development Unit and Fiduciary Development Unit. This position is located in Boston, MA.

Responsibilities:

  • Work as part of a small sales team to meet and surpass sales, revenue, margin and activity goals at the individual and team targets
  • Cultivate relationships with investment professionals and target audiences via outbound calls, marketing, and external and virtual meetings
  • Market firm products; convey investment ideas; provide product information; and gather data to influence sales
  • Travel to attend national meetings and conferences
  • Network, consult and collaborate with existing affiliate sales forces domestically and globally and work in conjunction where appropriate
  • Become an expert in the Natixis Sustainable Futures Funds and effectively articulate that expertise
  • Provide service to existing clients where appropriate and help coordinate client service offerings and expectations
  • Communicate and build awareness internally and externally of market landscape, current initiatives and successes
  • Manage and communicate opportunities, pipeline, rfps, rfis, wins and loses with feedback across pertinent affiliates, global sales teams and executive management
  • Capture activity and substantive conversations and pipeline opportunities via CRM or other designated tool

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience; MBA, CIMA, CFA, strongly preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of Institutional sales experience and contacts
  • Extensive knowledge of financial marketplace, investment products and analysis
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the institutional sales process and requirements
  • Ability to travel 50% of time
  • Demonstrate proven sales results from prior efforts
  • Able to demonstrate Team orientation
  • Ability to multi task and represent multiple products and strategies
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Independent self-starter with entrepreneurial experience or experience in startup groups/businesses
