DISHWASHER/UTILITY JOB DESCRIPTION

Reports to: Kitchen Manager, Assistant Kitchen Manager, Manager on Duty

Position Overview:

In this critical position you will work in conjunction with other kitchen employees dedicated to consistently exceeding guest expectations. This role is critical to the successful daily operation of our restaurants.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensuring the availability and maintaining the par level of clean dishes by washing dishes, pots, pans, and flatware in accordance to policy and procedure.
• Clean machines and appliances used in the kitchen including but not limited to coffee makers, mixers, etc.
• Operate industrial dishwasher.
• Unloading, labeling, and rotation of food deliveries.
• Empty and clean all trash receptacles.
• Regularly clean line and pizza hoods on a scheduled basis
• Complete all assigned Opening and Closing side work, as well as, weekly / monthly cleaning projects.
• Provide assistance to the Prep cook and other staff as needed to ensure a smooth operation.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary work station at all times.
• Ensure all soiled aprons/linens are properly stored.
• All other reasonably assigned duties as requested by management.

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES:

• No prior experience necessary (we will train).
• Must be able to work nights, weekends and holidays
• Must be able to stand, bend, crouch, kneel, reach, and walk for entire shift.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to multitask.
• Ability to handle stressful situations, and maintain a pleasant demeanor with coworkers without becoming defensive.
• Must be able to work in a hot / wet and at times humid environment.

Education/Experience:

• High School diploma or GED
• Minimum of 18 years of age

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
