Join the team at CJE SeniorLife's Deerfield Campus Tamarisk Northshore and Weinberg Community, We are looking for a high energy utility worker/dishwasher and self-motivated, reliable, coachable and hard working individual to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots or pans using dishwashers or by hand
• Maintain a clean and tidy work area
• Follow health and safety guidelines
• Sort and stack clean dishes; Carry clean dishes to proper storage areas
• Safely and efficiently operate dish washing machine according to procedure manual
• Ensure proper soap and rinse chemicals are loaded for washing
• Remove from service any dishes, utensils, and glassware that are damaged or broke
• Stock delivered food and non-food items
• Keep stock rooms, coolers & freezers clean and ensures that food supply stocks are rotated, all perishables are covered, labeled, dated and stored properly.
• Empty and clear garbage bins and breakdown of boxes
• Wash all carts and garbage bins
• Deep cleaning of kitchen floors, walls and equipment
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment
• Perform all duties in adherence to Senior Lifestyle Corporation standards.
• Strive to maintain a safe working environment through the prevention of accidents, the preservation of equipment, and the achievement of safe working practices.
• Maintain a positive and professional demeanor toward all residents, visitors and coworkers.
• Adhere to all policies and procedures of Senior Lifestyle Corporation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Ensure equipment temperature maintenance.
• Attend all required training, in services, and staff meetings. Meet all department training standards through regulatory training and/or other necessary training modules as required.
• Perform all duties in adherence to CJE SeniorLife standard. Adhere to all CJE SeniorLife policies and procedures.
• Affect budgets by avoiding waste of products and time.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Proven working experience as a dishwasher
• High integrity with a great attendance record
• Ability to listen and communicate effectively
