Shift:

• Wednesday-Saturday (5:00am-3:30pm)
• Starting pay $18.15/hour

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Communicate with Customers daily for status updates
• Reconcile deliveries (Previous Day and Current Day)
• Compile and compose BOL’s for deliveries
• Route drivers’ delivery schedule daily
• Communicate, coordinate and direct drivers’ delivery functions
• Bill deliveries within accounting software
• Generate invoicing within freight payment system
• Provide updates to DC on Club status or requests
• Oversee and monitor driver progress throughout the day
• Organize and file BOLs/invoices/DOT documents
• Recap daily on-goings and communicate to team
• EDI entry reporting (Customer communication)
• Schedule appointments for Deliveries/Backhaul coordination/Vendor Pick-ups
• Report on all equipment mileage monthly
• Reconcile IFTA mileage for compliance
• Call in repairs (Roadside or otherwise)
• Cross train as needed
• “Assist warehouse freight desk in processing paperwork and inbounding drivers as needed.”

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

• Previous Customer Service or Dispatch experience
• Detail oriented with ability to demonstrate skill in business analysis, and/or a track record in executing company standards successfully.
• Ability to effectively communicate, interact and convey business decisions with many different levels within the organization.
• Knowledge of receiving, shipping, inventory systems, supply chain management, logistics, customer service, reporting, system analysis, equipment and warehouse functionality
• Proven success in maintaining quality, service and client relationships in a high-paced setting.
• Experience working in team oriented, multi-shift environment.
• Strong computer skills with proven competencies in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook.

COMMUNICATION & OFFICE SKILLS:

Ability to read, write and communicate effectively. The ability to operate office machinery is required, as well as to effectively operate on the computer systems and all required customer systems as well necessary personal computer programs.
