Position Overview:

The Operations Specialist is responsible for acting as the communication point of contact for the drivers and operations. You will also schedule and dispatch drivers to the appropriate locations and times while keeping constant communication with our drivers and management.

Position Responsibilities:

• Check in drivers, discuss daily route assignment, and answer questions
• Monitor the route and status of drivers by tracking their time, route check-ins, re-routing, and finish time,
• Report driver performance issues or concerns to appropriate management for resolution
• Interface with the client or on-site customer representative when necessary
• Update road failure and accident reports when applicable
• Company administrative policies, procedures, and safety rules when planning, assigning, directing work, and supervising and training drivers
• Provide drivers with initial support during accidents and engage manager as needed

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of dispatching experience (PREFERRED)
• 2 years of administrative support experience
• Must have reliable transportation

Work Schedule:

• Wednesday- Sunday (1 PM to 10 PM)
• Training Only (Monday- Friday 9 AM to 6 PM)

Pay Rate:

• The hourly wage range that Lux Bus America reasonably expects to pay for the position is $22.00/hr.-$24.00/hr.
