Job description
We're looking for an experienced, energetic and responsible Dispatcher to support our team. The ideal candidate will have industry experience, a high level of professionalism, as well as a proven track record of prioritizing and communicating effectively with our field personnel. The successful candidate for this position will be able to respond calmly to emergency situations, possess a detailed knowledge of company policies and procedures and have strong communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Use the radio to communicate with other dispatchers., Dispatch equipment to the appropriate location., Monitor vehicle locations and driver status and communicate any issues or changes in status., Get customer orders using a computer system., Use customer information to prepare delivery reports., Answer questions about current orders., Communicate with drivers regarding customer complaints and problems.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.50 - $20.00 per hour
