A role you will love

The Disputes Supervisor is responsible for managing the daily processing of the senior level dispute associates, including oversight of employee performance, monitoring key performance indicators for the team, reporting of metrics, and interaction with the legal team.

  • Responsible for day-to-day supervision of the senior level associates within the department, including timekeeping, time off requests, associate feedback and annual evaluations, review of assigned and completed responsibilities.
  • Ensure all requests received (CITs) are handled accurately and within the set timeframe, keeping in mind the high risk and escalated nature of these items. Assist associates with escalation of issues in order to meet standards as appropriate. Ensure all qualified written requests are handled according to RESPA and other Federal and State Regulatory requirements and responses issued are valid and accurate.
  • Build and maintain relationships with Legal/Compliance teams. Ensure thorough research is performed for responses to regulatory agencies, state agencies and issues escalated to the executive committee. Assist associates with training and research as needed in order to respond to high risk and escalated inquiries, both verbal and written.
  • Manage and provide daily, weekly, and monthly reporting, including tracking of items in process with legal. Perform employee work reviews monthly to ensure compliance with quality standards and to identify risks and controls in loan level processes.
  • Identify potential improvements and efficiencies within the department workflow and assist in implementation of these items. Create or edit department procedures as needed. Assist with special projects as assigned.

Education and Experience

Required:

Associates Degree or equivalent work experience.

1 - 2 years of supervisory/leadership experience.

Preferred:

2 - 5 years of Mortgage Banking experience.

  • Compensation. Compensation for Colorado based candidates - Base Pay: $70,000 - $73,000 per year. Additional Pay: Eligible for discretionary bonus.
