Description:

Are you a craftsman at heart? Do you work hard and enjoy having a direct impact on the success of an operation? Are you eager to grow with a unique and expanding organization with limitless opportunity?

Over the past 10 years, Journeyman Distillery has become a staple for genuine hospitality and world-class spirits in Southwest Michigan and throughout the Midwest. This year, we are poised to more-than-double our current distribution reach. This means more production and a demand for more great people to make it all happen!

As a Distiller at Journeyman, you will ensure that the highest-quality standards are met in producing our award-winning spirits. You will be instrumental in supporting our distribution growth as well as in supplying our Staymaker restaurant, additional food & beverage locations, and our premier events services. Because we are a grain-to-bottle distillery, you will be involved in the entire process from inspecting our regionally-sourced, organic grains upon arrival, to ensuring proper procedures during on-site milling, mashing, fermentation, and distilling processes, to filling and warehousing our barrels, to preparing products for bottling following the aging process. The entire process takes time to learn and will test skills/attributes such as patience, time management, work ethic and your ability to keep the production floor tidy! Learning all these facinating procedures and responsibilities will take time, curiousity, strong work ethic, and a passion for the spirits industry.
