Job description
JOB FUNCTION:
Responsible for delivery of food and supplies to centers and individuals and for maintaining the daily operations of distribution sites. Maintain a safe environment and cleaning of all vehicles and warehouse spaces.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Pick-up and deliver food and produce to the distribution sites from the central warehouses, including any related documentation.
- Pick-up and deliver commodities from supply to storage facility and donation locations.
- Pick-up, delivery, and assembly of equipment and supplies for Distribution Centers.
- Routine maintenance of equipment and grounds.
- Interior/exterior utility/repair work at Centers as assigned by supervisor.
- Stocking of warehouse with supplies, and maintenance of a safe/neat & clean environment.
- Eliminate excessive down time of vehicles through a preventive maintenance program by completing daily logs, and all other relevant paperwork.
- Arrange for routine maintenance for vehicle assigned; seek approval from Supervisor before taking vehicle to the garage.
- Submit monthly reports by the fifth of each month.
- Follow rules and regulations of the highway while driving all Gateway vehicles and while commuting to and from assigned work sites.
- Follow procedure for calling out

QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be willing and able to lift over 50 lbs.
New Jersey Drivers License
Maintain a good driving record (accepted by Tri-County insurance carrier)
High School Diploma or equivalent
CDL a bonus
