Job description
We are looking for a DMV Title Clerk to join our growing team! NeedTags is a California Department of Motor Vehicles authorized online vehicle titling and registration service provider. The DMV Title Clerk performs a wide range of administrative and office support duties associated with vehicle registration documentation, including but not limited to vehicle registration renewal, title transfer, duplicate title, and registration replacement tasks.
Position: This can be an entry level position for the right candidate. DMV Title Clerk experience preferred but not required.

Essential Functions Include:
- Process DMV vehicle registration, follow proper requirements and procedures
- Research vehicle registration and title issues, and resolve matters
- Submit all (electronic filing) legal transfer and registration work to the DMV
- Meet company timelines for all DMV transactions
- Respond to customers in a professional and timely manner (online & phone)
- Prepare all outgoing deliveries, e.g. USPS, Fed Ex, UPS, GSO
- Perform secretarial tasks such as word processing, filing, copying, mailing and answering calls
- Cross-trains others to handle title and registration clerk daily responsibilities
- Maintains a professional appearance and a neat work area

- Professional phone manner
- Computer skills and typing proficiency 50+ WPM. Excellent grammar and spelling is a must.
- Vehicle registration experience (preferred)
- Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent math skills
- HS diploma or GED
- Bi-lingual (preferred)
Required Experience/Qualification:
- Clean background. If considered for this position you will be required to pass a DOJ Live Scan
- Minimum one year experience in an office environment with clerical responsibilities
- DMV Title Clerk experience preferred
