A Splash and Dash Pet Stylist is a fun, energetic, and talented groomer willing to be part of a team. As a Splash & Dash Pet Stylist, you will ensure pets look and feel their best. We want you to provide grooming services that enhance the lives of pets and their owners.

Job Responsibilities:

· Interact professionally and effectively with all team members in the best interest of the company

· Use their knowledge and ability to correctly identify breeds, coat types, tools, techniques to perform all haircut styles and finish work regardless of blade length on all breeds of dogs

· Assist in the bathing department if needed

· Assist with training grooming assistants and bathers

· Ensures the safety and well-being of each pet in our care

· Follows all Splash & Dash salon-quality standards

· Maintains productivity levels

· Utilizes and cares for grooming tools, including shears, clippers, blades, etc.

· Follow the owner's instructions when clipping or trimming an animal’s coat

· Make recommendations for styles, maintenance, and products

· Move animals and merchandise up to 50 pounds

· Records necessary information in the computer program

· Complete daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning

Job Requirements:

· (2) or more years of salon experience is preferred, but we will consider all experienced applicants that are dependable, detail-oriented, and energetic

· Must be able to perform in a fast-paced and team-oriented​ environment

· Must be comfortable working with dogs up to 160 lbs.

· Be able to lift 50 lbs.

· At least 18 years old (no high school kids)

· Stand and walk for long periods of time

· Safely work around dog and dog waste

· Work varied hours, days, nights, and weekends as business needs dictate

· Have reliable transportation

· Ability to perform all the ​tasks mentioned above

Salary:

Full-Time - Salary (W2) up to $52,000 + tips depending on experience

Part-Time – hourly rate up to $25 p/h depending on experience
