Pay based on experience!

CATLIN is currently seeking experienced Drillers with CDL License to be based out of our Wilmington, NC office. Home based mobilization is also an option for the right candidate. Geotechnical and/or Environmental Drilling experience is required. Applicant must be experienced with SPT drilling by hollow stem and mud rotary drilling techniques. Drivers license and CDL required. A North Carolina (Level A) drilling license is a plus. Experience with rock coring is a plus. Experience operating a CPT rig is a plus. Experience with heavy equipment operation and mechanical experience beneficial but not required. OSHA HAZWOPER training desired but not necessary.

We are offering very competitive hourly rates with full benefits (paid travel time, paid time off, health/dental/vision insurance, 401K, profit sharing, short/long term disability, life insurance), depending on years of experience and level of drillers license. We offer a variety of different types of subsurface investigative work with multiple rigs, as well as additional long term career growth opportunities.

Our work is typically located in North Carolina and South Carolina and usually not on weekends. Must be self motivated, hard working, works well in a team environment, able to lift and carry at least 50 lbs and work in all weather conditions. Overnight travel is routinely required. Pre-employment, random drug testing and criminal background check required. Position requires clean NC driving record, NC CDL Class A or ability to obtain, obtain military base clearance.
