Job description
**2022-2023 LATE HIRE PAYROLL INFORMATION
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE :
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education experience
Experience in Google Suite and Microsoft Office 354 preferred
Provide administrative support to all Community Education programs, including but not limited to after school classes and driver’s education.
1. Processes all student registrations, transfers, refunds and cancellations for Community Education, ALIR and KIN.
2. Processes late registrations.
3. Answers all in-bound phone calls and retrieves voicemail messages for KIN and Community Education
4. Processes KIN and Community Education emails.
5. Prepares and distributes punch cards to water aerobics participants. Maintains spreadsheet of punch card distribution.
6. Prepares gift certificates for Community Education classes.
7. Prepares reports and rosters for KIN, Community Education and ALIR classes.
8. Assists with creating and distributing instructor packets.
9. Maintains a current file of instructor handouts and duplicates materials as necessary for classes.
10. Processes Facility Use Agreements into EMS and enters HVAC/NEPD work orders.
11. Assists Coordinator with daily communication. Notifies staff, students & instructors.
12. Assists with afterschool roster/handbook deployment.
13. Prepares daily report for refund processing and responsible for forwarding to Accounts Payable for payment.
14. Investigates and replies to credit card Company for disputed charges.
15. Manually processes refunds that are over 60 days old through CyberSource.
16. Maintains confidentiality of information.
17. Reports to work on time every day.
18. Performs additional duties and responsibilities as may be assigned.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Successful completion of applicable skills testing through the Department of Human Resources
- Knowledge of modern office practices, procedures, equipment and clerical techniques
- Knowledge of English usage, spelling, and punctuation
- Knowledge of basic mathematical principles and methods
- Proficient in the use of computer and various software programs
- Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
- Excellent telephone and public relations skills
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Ability to compile, organize, and maintain accurate and complete records and files
- Valid Texas Driver License with driving record that meets the requirements of the District
