As such, we are currently seeking a Drupal Developer who demonstrates the following skills and brings the following experience:


  • 3+ recent years of experience developing modern websites and applications.
  • Proficient in Drupal 7, 8/9 development using HTML, CSS/SASS, PHP, JavaScript and jQuery; competent with VueJS or ReactJS.
  • Experience using version control systems, such as Git.
  • Strong Drupal theming skills and experience with Twig.
  • Drupal data modeling - ability to create an intuitive and efficient data structure based on project requirements.
  • Experience with Continuous Integration - automated builds and deployments.
  • Basic knowledge of technical Search Engine Optimization best practices; experience with ARIA, WCAG, Section 508 compliance/conformance best practices and web performance standards.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, problem diagnosis, and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Able to manage own workflow while coordinating with project teams and management on schedules, requirements, goals, and assignments as needed.
  • Willing to take direction, but not dependent on it.
  • Able to respond positively to client and peer criticism and feedback.
  • Able to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing.
  • Able to effectively manage relationships, both internally and externally.
  • Displays a dependable, strong work ethic.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced, professional office environment.


Job Snapshot:
Miles Partnership is an industry-leading agency partner for local, state, national and international tourism and hospitality businesses. We use Drupal as our CMS of choice and are looking for developers with experience developing classic, progressively decoupled, and completely decoupled Drupal sites. Our developers are responsible for the coding and maintenance of creative-, data-, and measurement-driven tourism and hospitality websites in a fee-for-service environment. Your team is partnered with a tight-knit group of interactive producers, project managers, content and design/UX specialists and will build a handful of major sites each year, while maintaining and evolving an assortment of others. The work environment is casual, fun, productive and highly growth-oriented. This role requires intermediate to advanced expertise in developing for Drupal, including a mix of front-end and back-end skills.


Essential Duties:

  • Write and document well-designed, testable, efficient code using accepted best practices.
  • Build and maintain classic and progressively decoupled Drupal sites using ReactJS or VueJS.
  • Develop and theme accessible, responsive Drupal 9 websites and user interfaces based on design compositions and style guides.
  • Integrate data from various 3rd party services and databases and other external applications.
  • Follow ARIA, WCAG, and Section 508 compliance/conformance practices.
  • Contribute to project planning, including the preparation of stories, requirements, development approach, and estimates.
  • Collaborate with developers and other team members to resolve technical and design issues.
  • Consult with project management, design and content teams in internally-facing and client-facing contexts. Present options, pros and cons, and sound rationale.
  • Maintain knowledge of emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them.

Travel Requirements:

  • Occasional (but very rare) inter- or intra-state travel required, sometimes requiring an overnight stay

  • Remote - We are open to a remote candidate located anywhere in the US.


Salary Range:
$75,000-$90,000 DOE
