We are seeking an experienced, hands-on, service-oriented Dual Property Sales Manager for a Marriott Town Place and Hampton Inn by Hilton Properties. As a Sales Manager at the two propertiesyou will develop and foster business through direct sales. You'll source and develop potential accounts; update and maintain all forms of account files. You will also assist the General Managers to achieve the highest possible occupancy rate and average daily rate.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
SALES:
o Qualify leads and prospects gained from cold calls, sales blitzes, hotel leads, and other sources.
o Cultivate local lead sources by networking locally in the community.
o Qualify in-house guests by attending hospitality hours, property breakfasts, property social events, etc.
o Complete weekly sales reports. Submit to the General Manager
o Establish and maintain close contacts with top accounts and target accounts, through phone calls, tours, appointments, correspondence and entertainment. Assess their current and future needs. Network with prospects to uncover other decision-makers.
o Communicate to and coordinate with other hotel departments and personnel all sales information necessary for professional execution of commitments.
o Maintain accurate sales files and trace system on top accounts and target accounts.
o Perform sales tasks and goals as outlined in the marketing plan.
o Attend and participate in weekly revenue meetings and other meetings as requested by the General Manager
o Maintain good rapport with clients.
o Work closely with other departments to coordinate details, special requests and packages.
o Develop and maintain rapport with competitor hotels, City Convention and Visitors Bureau

TECHNICAL SKILLS:
o Desire and ability to perform direct outside sales.
o Excellent verbal and written skills.
o Able to use advanced computer systems (Fosse, OnQ and Delphi)
o Goal-oriented and creative personality.
ASSOCIATE RELATIONS
o Ability to work as a team player with all levels of hotel staff.
o Be readily available & approachable for all team members.
o Extend professionalism and courtesy to team members at all times.
GUEST RELATIONS
o Be readily available/ approachable for all guests.
o Accommodate guest special requests.
o Answer guest questions regarding local area facilities and services.
o Take proactive approaches when dealing with guest concerns.
o Extend professionalism and courtesy to guests at all times.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
In addition to performance of the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of supportive functions, determined by the GM:

o The hotel operates 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. Schedules must accommodate fluctuating business demands and associates may be asked to work shifts other than those they prefer or normally work.
o Carry out all reasonable requests by General Manager
o Comply with appearance standards

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $47,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

  • Commission pay
