HOURS: 7:45am to 7:45pm 7:45am to 7:45am

PAY: $22.00

Shift Differential if nights ? $1.00

Sign on Bonus

$300 after 30 days

$ 500 after 60 days

$ 700 after 90 days

Dura-Line is seeking a Lead Operator to Assist the Extrusion Supervisor in monitoring HDPE production processes, equipment, and personnel to ensure maximum efficiency and quality.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist Extrusion Supervisor in providing supervision, direction, and hands-on involvement to staff

Assist in communicating standards for process time, settings, and other specifications for optimum output and quality conditions

Provide tracking and feedback on results to staff and Extrusion Supervisor

Assist in performing ongoing checks of equipment, materials, and product. Recommends or takes action as required.

Complete production work as needed, including running a production line

Assist production staff with troubleshooting and resolving processing problems

Train operators on equipment usage, procedures, and adjustments

Follow and enforce safety and other company policies and procedures

Assist with selection of auxiliary equipment used in production

Perform work on special projects as needed

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Reading, writing, and mathematical competency testing required

Minimum 1 - 3 years progressive experience with HDPE processes; supervisory or lead experience preferred

OCCUPATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Good mechanical skills

Demonstrated ability to lead people and get results through others

Must have good communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to manage multiple priorities and multitask

Computer proficiency

Prior systems and continuous improvement orientation

WORKING CONDITIONS:
Manufacturing floor environment

May include outside conditions on top of railcars or silos in all types of weather
