This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work both virtually and from a local office.

What the day will look like

In this position, you will contribute to the success of the Client Team by taking ownership of and accountability for assigned projects and deliverables. The Health Solutions Specialist will serve as an integrated part of the client team on all aspects of day-to-day client delivery. This includes:

  • Proactively build knowledge base for health and welfare benefits
  • Develop understanding of basic business and financial concepts
  • Collaborate with others to get input on identifying and resolving issues
  • Collect, analyze, and prepare information to facilitate requirements of client requests

Additionally, you will participate in Aon’s Early Career Development Program which provides critical training, exposure to Aon solutions beyond Health, and networking with your peers across the country.

Skills and experience that will lead to success
  • Application of basic organizational and project management concepts
  • Ability to handle multiple projects at one time
  • Strong analytical skills and financial acumen
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint and Excel)
  • Strong communication skills

Education

  • 0 – 3 years of previous related insurance experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of industry experience. Majors in Business, Finance, Economics, Risk Management, Insurance and Political Science preferred, but open to all majors.
  • Must have appropriate insurance license/life and health (can be fulfilled post-hire)


Applicants for this role should graduate between December 2022 – May 2023 and have a GPA of 3.0 or above.


Unrestricted U.S. work authorization is required for U.S. office locations. We do not offer sponsorship for this position – CPT and OPT are restricted forms of work authorization.

The target salary range for this position is $65,500 to $68,500 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location.
