Position — Early Warning Response (EWR) Coordinator

Location — Accountability & Quality Assurance Department

Length of Service — 12 months (On-site, not a remote position)

Major Responsibilities:

(1) Support the day-to-day implementation of the business intelligence and early warning response systems to include training end-users; (2) provide support for managing, organizing, planning, designing, implementing, collecting, testing, monitoring, expanding, updating, fixing, and reporting activities associated with all aspects of data, dashboards, performance indicators, KPIs, and early warning response triggers; (3) design, implement, and evaluate process flow for sharing data throughout the organization and with partner agencies; (4) ensure integrity and quality of data are maintained; (5) coordinate OBIEE actionable intelligence so that whole-child student interventions and at-risk prevention may occur within schools; (6) plan, coordinate, and implement quality professional development activities and technical assistance for end-users; (7) coordinate and lead data activities associated with On-Track and similar initiatives/activities; (8) create and actualize dashboards, reports, and visualizations to assess school, classroom, and program performance measures, needs, impact, progress, and results; (9) work cooperatively and build/maintain relationships with personnel across schools and agencies through support and service; (10) develop, execute, analyze, evaluate, and re-design (as necessary) processes, procedures, programs, and products related to the Oracle Analytics Server and related tools and applications; (11) support the data needs of school leaders as to assist in carrying out whole-child initiatives and strategic interventions, and in identifying all access, opportunity, and academic gaps that may exist; (12) stay abreast of current national, state, and local developments in data management and utilization and business intelligence for continuous improvement; (13) utilize a variety of quality, project management, application and other tools to effectively and efficiently complete activities/tasks; and (14) perform other duties as assigned and designated by the Director of Accountability and Quality Assurance.

Qualifications:

PREFERRED: (1) Three years’ experience with Oracle OBIEE and/or OAS, Essbase and Fusion middle ware; Experience implementing the OBIEE and/or OAS at the physical, business model, and presentation layers; PMP; Six Sigma Green Belt or higher, Oracle trained and certification in OBIEE, OAS, or Database

REQUIRED:(1) earned degree in mathematics, computer science, information systems, engineering, or related degree; (2) three or more years’ experience developing custom analytics solutions or DBA experience; (3) five or more years’ experience in IT or information systems management; (4) working knowledge of T-SQL or PL/SQL, VBA, PowerShell or other windows scripting languages; (5) able to design, develop, document, and support ETL/ELT integrations, specifically Altova MapForce; (6) create, record, and maintain documentation of work (code and technical); (7) able to translate functional requirements into technical requirements; (8) Develop test plans to verify logic of new or modified programs; (9) Conduct quality assurance activities such as peer reviews, data validation, and testing (10) well-developed organizational, data visualization, and communication skills (written, verbal, non-verbal, social); (11) able to establish and maintain good working relationships with diverse groups of people; (12) able to clearly present complex information and explain technical concepts and procedures to non-technical users and broad audiences; (13) able to work independently, within a team, and with stakeholders while organizing and performing multiple projects; (14) able to reason effectively and exercise good judgment in decision making; (15) adept at recognizing issues/concerns and developing alternatives and solutions; (16) able to effectively multi-task to meet deadlines and to provide quality services throughout all levels of the organization; (17) must be able to work in a fast paced, deadline-oriented environment; (18) must be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and contribute to a positive work environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,415.00 - $100,548.00 per year
