Job Description

Our client, a leading medical device company, is looking to hire someone who can bring added value to the team. If you’re dedicated, energetic and detail-oriented, this could be the perfect role for you. Responsibilities include:

1) Lead PCB designs

2) Lead motor control system design

3) Lead electric diagram and schematics

4) Lead power system design, both DC and AC

5) Take the technical lead on engineering design and development from concepts to products

6) Analyze technology and resource needs

7) Make detailed plans to accomplish goals within budget and time

8) Identify technical problems and provide innovative and creative solutions

9) Participate innovation process and product improvement

10) Direct, review and approve product design and changes

11) Perform root cause analysis and suggest corrective and preventive actions

12) Work with the Purchasing Department for the prototypes, production parts and necessary tools

13) Perform cable harness assemblies

14) Assist with service and maintenance, when necessary

15) Perform other duties as assigned

Critical Requirements

1) A university degree is required. Although all candidates are welcome and encouraged to apply, preference will be given to those with degrees in a relevant field

2) Appropriate full-time work experience is mandatory (no students or fresh graduates please)

3) Recent experience in the medical device industry is strongly preferred

4) Preference will be given to candidates with recent experience in electrical engineering

Compensation and Other Details

Base Salary: Highly competitive package, commensurate with experience
