ELECTRICAL PROJECT ENGINEER
Our client is an Indianapolis-based MEP engineering firm who is seeking an Electrical Project Engineer to join their team with potential for becoming Electrical Department Manager.
ELECTRICAL PROJECT ENGINEER RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for electrical engineering conceptual design, development of design, preparation of construction documents, and performance of construction administration on given projects.
- Performance of electrical engineering for assigned projects including, but not limited to, research, engineering calculations and preparation of studies, design documents and construction documents.
- Coordination of electrical system design with other engineering and architectural disciplines.
- Selection of electrical equipment and systems for assigned projects.
- Construction administration duties including, but not limited to, submittal review, responses to Requests for Information and attendance at construction progress meetings.
- Observation of construction progress and preparation of field reports and punch lists.
ELECTRICAL PROJECT ENGINEER QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering.
- 5 – 10 years of demonstrated experience working as a project engineer in the consulting industry.
- Professional Engineer, or must be eligible to sit for Principles of Practice examination and obtain professional engineering license within two years.
- BIM (Revit) Proficiency.
- May require Covid vaccination due to client requirements.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $85,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
