We currently have an Electrical Supervisor position available in our facility in Pasco, Washington.

As a Twin City Foods (Pasco Division) Electrical Supervisor your main purpose would be to implement and oversee all electrical aspects of the plant and related equipment.

Electrical Supervisor should have experience in:

  • Troubleshoot triangle and Bosch baggers.
  • PLC and VFD Programming.
  • Knowledge of scales (Nettler Toledo, Weigh Tronics, Ishida).
  • Machine repair or machine build.
  • Building maintenance
  • Motor repair
  • Panel wiring
  • Computer use
  • Computer networking
  • Schedule and prioritize repairs and maintenance based on production scheduling.
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies.
  • Plan and schedule projects, estimate time and materials, maintain records and files, and prepare reports.
  • Skilled in the use of electrical and maintenance repair equipment/tools.
  • Preventative maintenance program administration

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrates thorough knowledge of electrical theory, practices, procedures, equipment, tools, and materials.
  • Installation, maintenance and repair of packaging, processing, and facility electrical systems.
  • Understand the National Electrical Code, state and local electric codes and ordinances.
  • Install, repair, and perform maintenance of conduits, high and low voltage systems, lighting circuits, panels, regulators, emergency power generators, transformers, relays, circuit breakers, switch boxes, and related electrical fixtures and equipment within the facility per code.
  • Observes and interprets meters and gauges and performs electrical system repair of boilers, refrigeration, and auxiliary equipment.
  • Monitors/inspects the facility for electrical/mechanical problems and/or equipment malfunctions.
  • Maintains departmental maintenance records and logs.
  • Notifies supervisory personnel of conditions affecting operation of equipment or safety of staff.
  • Helps maintain general cleanliness of maintenance/electrical areas.
  • Works shifts and overtime as required.
  • Other duties assigned.

Processing season- Approx. May 16th* - Oct. 31*st.
Off season work- Approx. Nov. 1st* - May 15*th.

Essential Physical Abilities:

  • Sufficient manual dexterity which permits the employee to perform electrical maintenance tasks.
  • Sufficient personal mobility and physical reflexes which permits the employee to work outside and inside; work around machines and equipment with moving parts; work around moving objects and vehicles; work on ladders and/or scaffolding; slippery or uneven walking surfaces and climbing/crouching in tight spaces.
  • Sufficient range of arm movement necessary to operate a personal computer and related equipment.
  • Sufficient manual dexterity and strength which permits the employee to lift 60 pounds.
  • Sufficient mobility & stamina to spend up to 80% of shift on production floor performing essential job functions.

Preferred Education/Training/Certification Qualifications:
5 plus years of industrial electrical experience preferred.
Possession of a valid Washington State Journeyman or Master Electrical License Preferred
