An Electrical Test Engineer is needed for a company that produces electronics and HVAC equipment for buildings in the New Freedom, PA area. This position will conduct Variable Speed Drive (?250KW) testing at Dyno or on chiller.

responsibilities:

• Conduct Variable Speed Drive (?250KW) testing at Dyno or on chiller.
• Collect waveforms using oscilloscope or/and data using power analyzer.
• Data analysis using MATLAB script and understand FFT results.
• Analyze VSD performances using testing results.

Skills:

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, schedule driven, team-oriented environment.
• Familiar with Variable Speed Drive (VSD) testing at dynamometer.
• Capable of working with VSD having three phase 460VAC inputs and follow all safety measures on site.
• Familiar with the usage of oscilloscope, power analyzer, differential probe and rogowski coil.
• Have experiences with data collection using scope and power analyzer.
• Familiar with the concept of Fourier Transform Analysis and use it on test data analysis.
• Experience with motor control is a plus.
• Good team player, strong verbal and written communication skills are required.

Education and Experience:

• BSEE or BSCE, or related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience.
