POSITION DESCRIPTION: Maintenance Electrician
REPORTS TO: Sisters of St. Francis Maintenance Supervisor
CLASSIFICATION: Full-time; Non-Exempt
GENERAL SUMMARY: Seeking a maintenance electrician to oversee and perform a variety of maintenance duties related to the operation, repair, inspection, installation and preventive maintenance of electrical systems, electrical appliances and building fixtures of properties owned by the Sisters of St. Francis and Lourdes University.
The Maintenance Electrician’s responsibilities will not be limited to electrical systems, but may include repairs and maintenance to include any and all building trade work and various new projects and renovations. The duties include installing, maintaining and repair electrical, lighting, control, FA, AV, security and other low voltage systems; troubleshooting and identifying electrical issues using the appropriate testing devices; reading technical blueprints; contacting & coordinating professionals and specialty vendors for repairs as needed; and ensuring compliance with local, building, electrical, OSHA and NEC codes.

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
