Electro Mechanical Technician- up to $31.50/hr
- 2nd shift
- 3pm-11pm
- Monday- Friday
- Temporary to Hire opportunity for the right candidate. Our client offers generous vacation time, excellent benefits and other benefits.
Daily tasks performed by a Electro Mechanical Technician include:
Reads and interprets common engineering drawings, specification documentation and machinery manuals.- Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and adjust electrical and mechanical equipment.
- Basic familiarity with the requirements of the NEC (National Electrical Codes) as they pertain to the facility.
- Performs all prescribed preventative maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment.
- Perform basic calibration procedures on various pieces of equipment throughout the facility.
- Troubleshoot and correct electronic instrumentation problems with devices such as thermocouples, motor tachometers, temperatures controllers, and pressure transducers.
- Actively participates in company safety programs to include safety inspections, safety observations and JSA risk assessments as required.

Must be able to:
Education/Work Experience: Two (2) years of industrial experience in Electrical and Mechanical Environment. Satisfactory completion of a trades program or a two-year (2) Associates Degree is preferred.- Language Ability: Must have excellent communication skills
- Math Ability: Proficient mathematical skills
- Reasoning Ability: Ability to systematically work through problems, can work with deadlines individually or as part of a team
- Computer Skills: Microsoft Office Suite
- Other (including certifications and licenses): Basic understanding of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), Human Machine Interface (HMI), and motor drives. Proficient in the use of electrical multi-meters.
- Work well with others in a team environment
- Arrive at work on time
