Job description

Regal Professional Services is currently hiring a Level I Technician in the Coppell, TX area. This position utilizes entry level experience, skills and knowledge to the electronics test and repair industry. The Level 1 Technician position’s primary role is to coordinate with leadership of repair services and higher-level technicians to take on and complete tasks that benefit the repair process and help achieve performance goals for the Repair Team.

Shift/Pay Rate: Sunday - Thursday 2nd shift (2pm to 10:30pm)

Sunday - Thursday 3rd shift (10pm-6:30am)

Responsibilities:

• Pre-screen product to determine initial status
• Perform product testing when needed
• Perform basic troubleshooting and repair when trained to do so
• Using basic soldering tools for replacing components
• Cleaning product when needed
• Work with Engineers and higher-level techs to gain knowledge and skills

Requirements:

• Basic understanding of electronics
• Test and troubleshoot various types of electronic circuit boards
• Perform configuration and fault management
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Use functional and situational reasoning
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Flexible with job duties and scope of work
• Perform tasks to completion
• Work effectively individually and as part of a team
• Work in a fast-paced environment, effectively balancing multiple concurrent assignments
• Frequent lifting, bending, stooping, squatting, reaching, pushing, and pulling of boxes as well as frequent movement (walking) throughout the lab
• Sitting for long periods of time
• Access information on the computer
• NOT able to work remotely
