Veterinary Technician
West Hills Animal Hospital & Emergency Center is actively looking to hire several full-time & part-time motivated individuals to join our treatment staff. At our busy 24 hour facility, we have 10+ general practice doctors, in addition to 3 dedicated overnight doctors that provide the top level of veterinary care to all pets that walk into our building. We are in search of individuals who are willing to learn, client-oriented, team player, and able to maneuver in a very fast-paced work environment. Shifts vary from 7a-3p, 3p-11p and 11p-7a.
Here is What Your day May Consist of:

• Triaging and stabilizing of critical patients
• Intravenous catheter placement and venipuncture
• Administer drugs (IV, SQ, Oral)
• Assists with radiographic procedures
• Perform diagnostic blood, urine, and fecal testing
• Administering and monitoring anesthesia
• Provide intensive care to hospitalized patients
• Manages invoicing of patients
• Client communication and education
• Admitting and discharging patients

Here is What You May Bring to the Position:

• Licensed Technician REQUIRED
• Previous experience in a veterinary setting
• Proficient in patient triage, emergency, and critical care nursing
• Ability to provide high-quality patient and client care
