Position Summary:
We are transforming Chubb to be compelling in a Digital Age. By focusing on data, analytics, and the customer experience, we are modernizing what insurance does and how we do it. We are looking for Emerging Technology Apprentices to complete o n-the-job and educational technical training to enhance skills within their chosen discipline, along with business and professional development training specific to IT and our broader industry . Major Chubb IT initiatives include IoT devices, Chubb Studio and Chubb Blink.

Responsibilities:
Work with the businesses, security teams, applications owners, solutions architects, and/or technical architects to assist and provide support toward toward open items, project tasks and/or deliverables, and timelines
Work within multi-functional agile teams with end-to-end responsibility for product development, delivery, reporting and analysis.
Create best-in-class resporting (visual) an data analytics to enhance resiliency capabilities
Provide architectural support by building proof of concepts & prototypes
Communicate with both technical and non-technical groups on a regular basis
Network with IT and Business leaders and Chubb Apprentice peers
Identify starting points for overcoming project and technical problems

Who are we looking for?

Individuals with an interest in Information Security, Technology, Data Science & Analytics, and Software Engineering.
Energetic, able to build and sustain long-term relationships across a multitude of stakeholders in a fast paced, multi-national work environment.
Strong time management and organizational skills
Strong analytical background with initiative and a strong sense of personal ownership over work
Strong research capability (e.g., ability to probe, ask questions and find answers)
Excellent, clear and concise verbal and written communication skills regarding analysis of results, work products, and articulation of problems
Self-motivated, passionate technical professional, driven to achieve committed milestones
A natural ability to recognize and define gaps, determine what changes need to be made, and work creativity to find solutions
Possess strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to present, persuade and influence peers.
Exposure or knowledge of tools such as T-SQL on Spark SQL, ANSI SQL etc.
Experience or exposure to programming languages such as python, scala, java, clojure or groovy
Experience or exposure to visualization tools such as Tableau, Qlik Sense or PowerBL
