The Employment Specialist’s primary job function is to coordinate the activities related to the recruitment, selection, hiring and staffing of a diverse workforce. The Employment Specialist is responsible for full-cycle recruiting activities and supporting hiring managers. The Employment Specialist works closely with key stakeholders and vendors.

The Employment Specialist works closely with key stakeholders and vendors and must have the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse constituencies. The person in this role must be able to manage full cycle recruiting, including sourcing, interviewing, securing references, extending the offer, onboarding, offboarding and has strong communication with hiring managers and applicants.

This role is of a personal and confidential nature. It is essential to have the ability to maintain confidential and sensitive information, exercise discretion in all matters, adhere precisely to legally required constraints and follow specific College policies regarding release of information.
