SCOPE OF POSITION
The Endoscopy Tech I is responsible for providing safe and effective patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Routine responsibilities include providing pre, intra, and post-procedural care to patient, preparing procedure room for and assisting with endoscopic procedures, transporting patients, supplies, and equipment, preventive maintenance inspection, cleaning and disinfection of equipment and supplies, maintaining department logs, and routine housekeeping duties. This position will demonstrate competency in the care of patients of all age groups.

EDUCATION EXPERIENCE
High School diploma or equivalent required. Graduate of an accredited surgical or endoscopy technologist program preferred. Experience in an OR or endoscopy center, preferred.
