Engineer

ABOUT US:
Hygrade Precision Technologies, LLC currently operates in a 40,000 square foot facility located in Plainville, Connecticut. Their capabilities and services include CNC multi-axis machining, CNC and manual ID/OD grinding, Vertical ID/OD grinding, flat lapping and grinding, and testing and inspection services, including CMM inspection and surface temper etch services. Hygrade services the Aerospace, Automotive, Commercial, Homeland Security, Medical and Power Generation industries.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Collaborates with customers to assist Sales in obtaining all the related material associated with an RFQ package including obtaining prints, specifications, and models

· Works on contract review for incoming jobs, assuring OP sheets, programs and routings are up to date.

· Develop new product introduction processes using detailed drawings and routing are up to date.

· Develop production processes and supports enhancements/improvements to these processes along with documentation.

· Provide technical support to the production team in yield improvement and trouble shooting.

· Design and prepare for the right fixturing and tooling for jobs

· Performs work that involves conventional engineering practice but may include a variety of complex features such as conflicting design requirements, including programming various machines

· Perform internal audits and 6S

· Perform other required duties as required by management

QUALIFICATIONS:

· 1-3 years of engineering experience

· Machine set-up experience

· CNC machining experience

· Programming experience

· CNC grinding experience preferred

· Proficient in Microsoft Office

· Must be able to work independently or as a part of a team

· Must be able to manage and navigate through a stressful and fast paced environment

· Must be a problem solver with a positive attitude

· Must have great time management and prioritization skills

• Monday to Friday- 7:00AM-3:30AM
