1. JOB SUMMARY:

Working with the VP of Engineering, responsible for performing general and specific administrative support tasks involved in the engineering environment.

2. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Update and maintain all master drawings and other related documentation.

2. Maintain and create part numbers and specification (Part maintenance)

3. Maintain and creates all BOMs (Bill of Materials)

4. Prepare and process ECNs (Engineering Change Notices)

5. Maintain and review raw material specifications.

6. Review raw material certifications.

7. QPL registration review (Qualified Products List) for DLA

8. Maintain records for Military Standards and Customer Specifications

9. Maintain Machine and Tool Instruction Manuals

10. Design customer dies for their production.

11. Internal Auditor

12. Determines and reviews all manufacturing processes for cost analysis.

13. Works with VP of Engineering in preparation of requested changes or corrections to the MS Standards.

3. ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

As assigned by the Vice President of Engineering.

4. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

1. Advanced computer skills to include SolidWorks.

2. Attention to details, decision making, problem solving abilities

3. Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion with minimum instructions, adhere to prescribed routines and practices, maintain records, and to make reports requiring accuracy.

4. Ability to work well with and to assist other departments.

5. Knowledge of production resources and processes.

6. Data entry & ERP system knowledge

7. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

1. High school diploma or equivalent.

2. Minimum of 3 years industry experience.

3. CAD/CAM Training.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
