Engineering Technologist III

This is a third level for Distribution Design. The purpose of this position is to continue to gain knowledge in the electrical industry by delivering safe, clear, and technical designs that match customer standards. Applicants will demonstrate prior experience completing distribution designs but will be more autonomous than previous positions. Engineering Technologist III may assist in mentoring, implementing quality Control and training peers

Required Specifications

• 6+years prior experience in distribution planning OR less experience with the combination of engineering technology education

Duties and Responsibilities

• Always maintain a safe working environment including on site in office and out in the field via an ever-changing environment
• Gather and analyze all appropriate field and technical information to provide turnkey product to customers
• Utilize customer standards to deliver, develop, and implement cost effective designs
• Work Alongside Peers to identify and obtain appropriate permitting from city and other municipalities when required
• Coordinate with construction crews if further information is required to complete job
• Perform field work as needed to perform designs
• Maintain effective communication with peers to help facilitate larger customer driven jobs
• Work in time efficient manner to adhere to company driven benchmarks in an effort to avoid construction delays
• Must pass a drug screening test
• CAD'ing skills required
