Position Overview: We are currently seeking an Enterprise Business Development Director to be an individual contributor responsible for driving revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have a background in Enterprise and/or B2B SAAS solution sales. This person should also be a trusted advisor, have a growth mindset, and drive for results.

This is an FT, salaried, and fully remote position reporting to the VP of Revenue. The compensation package is $125K base salary, + commissions and benefits based on applied experience, geographic location, and other factors identified by the hiring committee..

Responsibilities:

  • Effectively prospect, develop, and close enterprise sales opportunities
  • Meet and exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas
  • Create and drive revenue within a specified region
  • Develop long-term relationships with clients as well as develop account plans for new relationships
  • Generate leads from personal outreach, tradeshows, conferences, and networking events
  • Possess a full understanding of customers' specific decision-making and purchasing process
  • Develop and manage pipeline activity and monitor sales activity against assigned quotas
  • Acquire and integrate industry knowledge related to general trends, emerging technologies, and competitors
  • Create a comprehensive and strategic sales plan to drive revenue
  • Develop trusted advisor relationships with clients and design account plans for account expansion
  • Responsible for navigating through an enterprise organization to leverage cross-sell and upsell opportunities
  • Use in-depth knowledge of industry trends to consult and support prospective customers

Qualifications:

  • A proven sales hunter and closer.
  • 5+ years experience selling Enterprise SaaS solutions to F1000 accounts
    • Proven track record selling enterprise solutions into large/ complex accounts and achieving quarterly and annual sales targets
    • Experience crafting complex sales proposals with multiple SKU's with advanced proficiency in excel
  • Excellent communication and presentations skills
  • Be able to work independently & as part of a team in a fast pace, rapid change environment
  • Exceptional professional presence, gravitas, and business acumen
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve a revenue target with the ability to develop compelling strategies that deliver results
    • Experience consistently exceeding a quota of $1.5 - $2+ million, with proven success in accurately forecasting targets, and achieving sales commits
  • Driving Customer growth by proactively identifying opportunities to deliver greater customer value
  • Follows best practices when using CRM and other Sales tools in order to manage the Sales and Buyer cycles
  • Drives customer decision making by achieving a shared vision and proactively considering the value props that tie all stakeholders together
  • Leads with Solutions, not products, when making recommendations aligned to Customer objectives
  • Uses data and insights to support investment recommendations or overcome customer objections
  • Proactively mitigates churn risk by adopting a smart, customer-centric approach
