Birdsong Hearing Benefits is a hearing benefits manager that provides Medicare Advantage and commercial solutions for the most under-utilized supplemental benefit: Hearing. Responsibilities: Responsibilities:

• Collaborates and pairs with other product team members (UX, engineering, and product management) to create secure, reliable, scalable software solutions
• Writes custom code or scripts to automate infrastructure, monitoring services, and test cases
• Contributes to enterprise-wide tools to drive destructive testing, automation, or engineering empowerment Identifies product enhancements (client-facing or technical) to create a better experience for the end users
• Identifies unsecured code areas and implements fixes as they are discovered with or without tooling Identifies, implements, and shares technical solutions that can be used across the organization
• Creates and architects foundational code elements that can be reused many times by a product Creates meaningful architecture diagrams and other documentation needed for security reviews or other interested parties
• Defines Service Level Objectives for product to constantly measure their reliability in production and help prioritize backlog work

Qualifications: Qualifications:

• 10+ years of relevant work experience within the realm of application engineering/architecture
• Domain Service Integration Patterns (service being invoked from client-side Vs server-side)
• Deep knowledge & understanding of Microservices
• 3rd Party Integration Patterns (Both on client-side & server-side), Best Practices and Security
• Expertise on how to build scalable, performant & resilient systems
• Deep understanding on front-end apps (Apps built on jQuery, React, Angular, Node.js etc.)
• Deep understanding on domain API’s
• Understanding SLA’s, SLI’s and SLO’s for all in-house & 3rd party services and how they can impact the availability of the apps
• Hands-on expertise on any of the cloud provider platforms (AWS)
