AECOM is seeking an Entry-Level Landscape Designer to be based in Los Angeles, CA

_This position is expected to begin in September 2022._

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

+ Play an active role in the design process from concept through construction

+ Assist in the preparation of design graphics and technical drawings

+ Collaborate with project team members across disciplines

+ Under the direction of the Supervising Landscape Architect, may independently perform technical assignments of various complexities within approved schedules and budgets

Minimum Requirements

+ BA/BS + None or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

Preferred Qualifications

+ Landscape Architecture degree (BLA/BSLA/MLA) from an LAAB accredited institution

+ Landscape Architecture experience

+ Self-motivated and the ability to proactively solve challenges

+ Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, MS Office Suite, hand drawing

+ Proficiency in 3D modeling (Rhino3D)

+ Desire and ability to integrate seamlessly into both landscape architecture and multi-disciplinary design teams.

+ A commitment to design excellence and a passion for building a better world.

+ Actively pursuing licensure

+ LEED GA/AP, SITES AP, or ENV SP credentials

+ Familiarity with Southern California native and climate-appropriate plant communities

+ Experience with advanced modeling and analysis software (e.g. Revit, Grasshopper3D, ArcGIS)

+ Experience with advanced visualization software and plugins (e.g. Lumion, Enscape, V-Ray)
