This is the role:

We are looking for professionals to join our Byhalia, MS team as a General Operator. General Operators are important members of the team by operating powered industrial lifts, loading raw materials, stacking boxes and packaging the final product.

This is What You Offer:

· Operates powered industrial lifts including sit down forklift

· A high level of concentration

· High school diploma or equivalent

· Experience in machine set-up and computers- Preferred

· Must have a good understanding in how equipment operates in order to clear equipment safely

Physical Work Environment & Conditions

· Must be able to stand/walk on concrete floors for 8 or more hours during the course of a day.

· Must be able to work in high temperatures, in excess of 100 degrees Fahrenheit for several hours during the day.

· Plant environment will be dusty with airborne wool particles.

· Must be able to work in a fast-paced high-volume production facility.

· Some lifting, bending, stooping, walking up/down stairs, fast pace walking for some distance.

· The ability to lift 60 pounds & 120 pounds with another person

The ability to work in non-climate-controlled conditions for several hours daily while wearing protective + safety equipment required

Essential Functions:

· Operates a powered industrial truck to safely unload raw materials to the designated positions in warehouse.

· Moves raw materials and finished goods to the line according to instruction and systems without damage to product

· Feeds the line with raw materials and/or semi-finished goods, ensuring correct material numbers.

· Packages product into correct boxes, ensuring correct quantity and product type according to packaging specifications

· Packages product delicately and in a timely manner in order to ensure smooth flow of product.
