SUMMARY:

The primary responsibility of this position is to inspect labels to verify they meet customer and internal specifications, and to properly identify and dispose of non-compliant labels. The individual should be a self-starter with the desire to work in a team-oriented environment.

JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES (THE “WHAT”):

  • Operate available equipment to ensure production objectives are achieved.
  • Assist in maintenance of all inspection equipment.
  • Ensure quality system procedures are followed at all times in the Inspection department.
  • Follow proper procedures, including proper documentation, when performing job responsibilities as outlined in the SOP's and the GMP Manual.
  • Support department and company initiatives concerning production and comply with all policies.
  • Practice safe work habits while operating equipment.
  • Participate in scheduled company training sessions.
  • Perform other duties as requested.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Prior background in manufacturing environment, preferably in a regulated industry is helpful
  • An eye for detail and excellent documentation skills
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds, occasionally 40
  • Reliable as evidenced by good attendance
